Terms & Conditions
1. The Role of Vantage Voyages
Vantage Voyages (hereinafter "the Agency") acts solely as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, or other service provider named in your itinerary (hereinafter "Suppliers"). The Agency is not the provider of these services. All bookings are subject to the specific terms and conditions, including cancellation policies and limitations of liability, imposed by these Suppliers.
2. Professional Services & Planning Fees
By engaging the Agency to facilitate travel arrangements—ranging from individual reservations to comprehensive itinerary design—you agree to the following:
-
Planning Fees: Our professional fees are for the time, expertise, and curation of your travel. These fees are separate from the cost of the travel itself and are non-refundable, regardless of whether the travel is ultimately completed or canceled.
-
Scope of Work: The planning fee covers a set number of revisions as outlined in your initial proposal. Substantial changes to the destination or dates after a project has commenced may require an additional fee.
3. Deposits and Payments
-
Supplier Requirements: Deposits are required to secure inventory and are subject to Supplier policies.
-
Currency Fluctuations: For international custom itineraries, quotes are often based on foreign currency. Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations until the final payment is received.
-
Price Increases: Suppliers reserve the right to increase prices (e.g., fuel surcharges, government taxes) until a booking is paid in full.
4. Travel Documentation & Health Requirements
It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to ensure they possess valid travel documentation, including but not limited to:
-
Passports: Must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of return.
-
Visas: Required visas for all transit and destination points.
-
Health Requirements: Compliance with all vaccination, testing, and health entry requirements. The Agency provides guidance as a courtesy, but the legal burden of entry compliance rests with the client.
5. Travel Insurance: The Essential Requirement
Because of the complex and high-value nature of our itineraries, Vantage Voyages strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance. * Such insurance should cover trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and medical evacuation.
-
Should you choose to decline travel insurance, you acknowledge that Vantage Voyages is not liable for any financial loss resulting from unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, or supplier insolvencies.
6. Cancellations and Changes
-
Supplier Policies: If you cancel your trip, you will be subject to the cancellation penalties of the individual Suppliers (hotels, cruises, etc.).
-
Agency Handling Fee: The Agency reserves the right to charge a professional handling fee for the processing of cancellations or major modifications to a confirmed itinerary.
7. Limitation of Liability
Vantage Voyages shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned by:
-
The acts or omissions of any Supplier.
-
"Acts of God," including weather, strikes, civil unrest, or pandemics.
-
The failure of a client to follow instructions or obtain proper documentation. Our liability is limited to the amount of the professional planning fee paid to the Agency for the specific booking in question.
8. Force Majeure
The Agency is not responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations under these Terms caused by events outside of its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or international travel restrictions.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Collier County, Florida.
